My Journey offers information on cycling, walking, buses and call & go minibuses travel options within Whitehill & Bordon that allow you to choose the best option for getting from A to B.

Walking and cycling

A Green Loop/Green Grid throughout Whitehill & Bordon is being developed to encourage walking and cycling to work, school, the shops and for leisure. The Green Loop is an approximately seven mile circuit of the town passing through Hogmoor Inclosure, Bordon Inclosure and the Deadwater Valley Local Nature Reserve. The Green Grid will transverse the town and provide easier access to the town centre, leisure facilities and to the schools.  The Green Loop/Grid Green will be completed in 2021 with elements interfacing with the Shipwrights Way. A map of the routes can be found here.

Buses and minibuses

Public transport in Whitehill & Bordon includes bus and coach services which connect W&B to Basingstoke, Alton, Liphook, Haslemere, Farnham, Aldershot and Portsmouth. Timetables and route information can be found on the My Journey website .

A Call & Go bus service is available on Tuesday mornings for members of the community who are disabled or have a mobility impairment and live more than 400 m from a bus stop. VOCA – On Demand Service

The Whitehill & Bordon Regeneration Company is working on a competitively priced, 18-hour, on-demand travel and transport service called VOCA, for residents of Whitehill & Bordon and those who live and work in the surrounding areas. VOCA will serve destinations within a 5-mile radius of Whitehill & Bordon, such as train stations, shopping centres, GP surgeries, schools, as well as Basingstoke Hospital. We expect the service to be operational in spring 2021.
