Click here for the dates of the Specialist Group meetings
Local input is key to making the town’s regeneration successful and this is why ‘Specialist Groups’ have been set up.
Anyone can join these groups and each of the five groups will focus on one key area of delivery. The chairman/vice chairman of each group is a member of the Delivery Board.
The groups (with their Delivery Board member are):
- Community facilities and amenities (Cllr Adam Carew – Whitehill Town Council)
- Economic development (Cllr Glynis Watts – East Hampshire District Council)
- Housing – (Kevin Bourner Homes and Communities Agency)
- Infrastructure and transport (Cllr Andrew Joy – Hampshire County Council)
- Sustainable development (Dr Bill Wain – Whitehill Bordon Town Partnership)
When will meetings be held?
Each Specialist Group meets once (possibly more often) between the quarterly Delivery Board meetings.
Specialist Group meetings are held in public in Whitehill Bordon at different times to suit the maximum number of people who would like to attend.
How can I join a Specialist Group?
