Energy and water

The energy and water we use in our homes and at work is often taken for granted with the expectation that such services will always be there by either a flick of a switch or a turn of a tap.

Opportunities exist through the Eco-town Project to look at the demand and provision of energy and water services in a different way. An increased use of water and energy efficiency measures in domestic and commercial properties is an important part of this approach alongside new ways of generating energy and treating/recycling water.

The recent studies examine the June 2010 Draft Whitehill & Bordon Masterplan Framework and provide an assessment of the constraints and opportunities associated with the planning and delivery of the Eco-town over the next 20 years.
