Eco-station – what do you think?
On April 5, 2012
A questionnaire to find out the public’s views on the exhibition at the Eco-station is being carried out. The online questionnaire can be filled out here
The former Ministry of Defence fire station is being converted into an Eco-station and will open in the autumn.
The Eco-station will have an exhibition about the Eco-town and we would like to know what kind of information you would be interested in.
The Eco-town team is keen to gather your views about what would attract you to visit the Eco-station exhbition and what you would like to learn from it.
Cllr Glynis Watts, East Hampshire District Council’s deputy leader and portfolio holder for regeneration, said: “Please tell us what you think and help shape the future of the Eco-station. We want it to be something for the community that is useful, fun and interactive.”
Cllr Adam Carew, Mayor of Whitehill, said: “This is an opportunity for the community to have an input into this new community facility for the town. The public can have their say about the Eco-station exhibition up until 30th April.”
The Eco-station will be open to the public alongside the Exhibition House. The Exhibition House will showcase examples of eco-technologies. You can now watch the Exhibition House being built from the comfort of your own home –www.whitehillbordon.com/exhibitionhouse/
The Eco-station questionnaire is available at the Forest Community Centre and other places in the town. Alternatively, contact the Whitehill & Bordon Eco-town team to be sent one on 01730 234352 or email whitehillbordon@easthants.gov.uk
The questionnaire is also available to complete online here.
