On 16th November, the jury selected a shortlist of 5 design teams from 54 stage 1 submission, to proceed to stage 2 of the competition.
The shortlisted teams are:
Ash Sakula Architects with Stockley, KMCS, Michael Popper Associates and Eight Associates
Proctor and Matthews Architects with Price and Myers, WT Partnership, Atelier 10, Daedelus and Roger Griffiths Associates
Letts Wheeler Architects with Price and Myers, Appleyard + Trew and Waterman
White Arkitekter with Stockley, Gardiner and Theobald, LDA Design and A-hus
Bere Architects with Capita Symonds, Ernest Pasterfield and Partners and the Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment
The teams will now prepare concepts for the site as part of the second stage of the competition. These will be presented to a residents panel in early January and presented to the jury at the end of January.
The winning team will be announced in early March 2012.
